First of all, this comic is up late because some spring weather decided to start causing blackouts at the office. Which really sucks, because the only things that my cohort and I can relate to each other on plug into something.

Our ambling trundle towards webcomic relevance has led us down a path that coincides nicely with my other obsession, which is arranging pixels for human consumption. What I'm trying to say is that I built and submitted to Apple an official Crooked Gremlins app, and it is now available for download through iTunes. Considering I didn't know what Xcode was 11 days ago, I'm very pleased to be able to say that.

There are a number of things about this that are funny, the foremost of which being that some poor sap at Apple probably had to read through the entire library of comics before being able to approve this app. It reminded me of CES and my brief run-in with a Sony rep; maybe the Apple guy knew to keep his eyes closed.

We got into some pretty serious nerd-ery last night in the form of a 9-year-old board game called "Zombies!!!" It was fun, and I'm confident we'll get into again. One of the things you have to keep track of in the game is how many zombies each player has killed. This number fluctuates a great deal, so I figure a digital scoreboard of some kind for the iPad is in order.

Because my newest obsession is Xcode and Cocoa Touch, I see every problem as a potential excuse to try and build an App for That. This is a condition that will likely persist for some time.
